When a person dies, their tomb stone and life record contains two dates with a dash in between. The dash is the time they lived or rather their life. At a funeral a eulogy is given about the deceased person's life. This eulogy describes their dash.
The pains of life isn't what creates the dash of life, but how you respond to those pains is what defines that dash, as all life will contain ups and downs. In life your dash is not created by circumstance, but circumstance brings your dash to light. Your dash is a representation of your soul and spirit. Your soul being; your mind, will, and emotions, it can be deceived and thus you must learn to guide it with your spirit. For a truly honorable dash to be shown in life, one must pre-decide on one's actions to any given circumstance, and thus defining your own personal dash.
At your funeral, what do you want your dash to be described as? I sure don't want my eulogy to be read as me being a bad person. I try to guide my soul, try to guide my life instead of just living in the moment.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed and we can't change or do anything about yesterday. We all have things we wish we could change. The only way to make sure that our life is displayed in a way that you're loved ones will be proud of is making sure your dash is represented as such. Guiding our soul is done best if we guide it through being saved and letting the Holy Spirit guide us with God's wisdom.

Depression is something that most people experience at one point or another. During this time of life, life can be hard to live. Some people attempt to hide it from others, while others have trouble coping with life situations and have trouble with everyday tasks such as personal self-care.
This book will show how the author had gone through depression for many years and teaches how he allowed his faith in God to conquer that depression in his own life. These teachings are meant to help others overcome their own depression while letting them know they are not alone in their struggle.
