We just celebrated Thanksgiving here in the Unites States of America. Thanksgiving represents freedom from England. Thanksgiving was when the pilgrims that came over here and celebrated this new holiday "feast" in October of 1621. It was not until 1863 when Thanksgiving became an official national holiday and celebrated the last Thursday of November.
On Thanksgiving people gather around the table to feast and say what they are thankful for that year. Some gather with family, some with friends, some are unable to gather and feast.
The fact is that most people take one day a year to gather their thoughts of their blessings and think on what they are thankful for. We should have a grateful spirit year round 365. When a person has a grateful attitude about them and shows respect and gratitude for everyday blessings and things given to them, even things as ordinary as your kid obeying or your employees doing their jobs, those people around them sees that and enjoys the presence of that person.
When a person shows no gratitude it brings a bitter, contrite spirit and no one wants to be around them. It is too easy to be kind and show your appreciation in all situations. It helps keep a beautiful environment whether it's a working environment or a home environment.
Most of all remember if you do believe in God, then you believe that He has provided everything. Do not forget to be grateful to Him for everything. It is so easy to think about this stuff once a year but it truly is not hard to think about it daily. It's about priorities and what is important to you. It's all about your mindset. Do you want to have a thankful spirit or an ungrateful one?
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Depression is something that most people experience at one point or another. During this time of life, life can be hard to live. Some people attempt to hide it from others, while others have trouble coping with life situations and have trouble with everyday tasks such as personal self-care.
This book will show how the author had gone through depression for many years and teaches how he allowed his faith in God to conquer that depression in his own life. These teachings are meant to help others overcome their own depression while letting them know they are not alone in their struggle.
